Sand Art Show in Geneva: Artists Premium and Océan Extraordinaire! respond to environmental emergency

An authentic show where sand and piano sound contribute to entertainment and environmental education.

On November 12, 2022, the emotion will be even stronger during the show that will take place at the Théâtre de la Madeleine in Geneva.

In fact, the initiators of the " Océan Extraordinaire! " project, Gionata Pieracci, a virtuoso pianist and composer from Mesolina, and Lorenzo Manetti, a pianist and humorist from Ticino, who uses sand art techniques in his theatrical productions, keep on commiting themselves to the environment by organizing a sand show at 8:30 pm. The show is organized in collaboration with Artists Premium, an artistic and event agency, specializing in artistic production and the organization of show, and based in Lausanne. This event will be held at

Théâtre de la Madeleine,
Salle Centrale,
10 Rue de la Madeleine,
1204 Genève.

The sand show uses the sand art technique, an artistic creation based on the work of sand. Gionata Pieracci and Lorenzo Manetti propose to the Geneva audience an unusual journey to the discovery of the richness of the aquatic biodiversity by creating scenarios of animations, by realizing sand drawings for projections accompanied by the soft and relaxing piano tunes of Lorenzo Manetti.

Images of sand appear, spread out, roll up to the rhythm of music, then gradually disappear; this amazes the children and fascinates the adults.

For the organizers, this show is a perfect opportunity to raise awareness on the importance of the aquatic ecosystem in our lives and the current state of our lakes and rivers among the people of Switzerland in general and the Geneva community in particular. This event also justifies the inspiration of the organizers "to restore harmony with mother earth".

You are all invited to the Théâtre de la Madeleine in Geneva on November 12 at 8:30 p.m. to experience this unique moment, a poetic speechless journey where sand drawing and music express all their power of ecological narrative.
