The Standards
Talented musicians, bubbling entertainments of emotions in a jazzy atmosphere.
The Standards is a Parisian musical band specialized in Classical Jazz. However, it performs Bossa Nova, Groove, Blues, Hard-Bop and Be-Bop. Created in 2020, the band is made up of four dynamic, talented musicians, graduates of the IMEP Paris College of Music.
Their mutual passion for music and entertainment leads them to perform many times on high-level stages for individuals as well as for renowned companies throughout France and in some European countries.
The Standards offers a repertoire as rich as varied, retracing the history of Jazz music from the early 30s to the late 70s. Ranging from Thelonious Monk to Herbie Hancock via Antônio Carlos Jobim, they are distinguished through their rearrangements of the most popular pieces as well as those less known to the audience.
Through the enthusiasm of Swing, the tenderness of Bossa Nova and the hysteria of Groove, The Standards will entertain your corporate evenings, events in hotels restaurants, workshops, team building, concerts, festivals, private cocktails, anniversaries, christenings, and weddings with the Quartet option (guitar + double bass + drums + saxophone) with the possibility of adding a vocalist.

Fees & Other information
Intervention Zone : The Standards performs in France, Switzerland and Europe.
Number of artists : 4 to 5.
Composition : Guitar, Double bass, Drum, Saxophone. It is possible to include a singer.
Quartet (Guitar + Double Bass + Drums + Saxophone) :
- 1 hour performance : € 1,560.
- 2 hour performance : € 2,080.
- 2 hour performance (if the client select the songs): € 2,600.
- 2 hour performance (if the client select the songs + 1 vocalist): € 3,250.
Add : € 520 per extra hour.
The following are included in the rates of the different options :
Up to 3 hour performance in several sets. It is possible to adapt the duration (Example: 45 min sets...).
- Sound equipment for Guitar and Double bass.
- Travel Expenses up to 15 km in the vicinity of Paris.
Depending on the distance and in case the performance is late in the evening, accommodation is required for the group.
